    Ebikes for camping.

We love bike riding when camping. Problem is we keep trail riding on our city bikes and mine really isn't for trail riding.

So we decided to jump on the ebike craze with fat tire hybrid bikes. Not exactly mountain bikes but good for trail riding. And with electric motors they definitely go zoom, zoom, zoom with minimal effort. Puts a whole new level of fun factor into bicycle riding.

We carry and use 2 Blix Avenys. We like them. They are more cruisers than trail bikes, but that's what we do the most so we like the comfort.

It seems most RVers with e-bikes do have fat tire bikes tho; a lot that fold up.

We have had two ebikes that we take camping with us. One 2.10 tires and the other 2.80 tires. We ride pavement/trails or even gravel roads. When we had our motorhome we used to tow a vehicle until we got our ebikes (2018). Now that we have a trailer we still camp taking the ebikes along. Have said that we don't travel much anymore as we have a permanent campsite..

We got our Lectric 2.0 xp just before Christmas. Trying to figure out the best way to haul them is our issue. Id appreciate some feedback as to how everyone else is transporting them. We have a LWB so they are
    against the cab for now.

We haul two Lectric bikes on this rack on the back of the RV. We have about 3k miles on it thus far and it is solid.

Good looking rack, I should have said the hitch is already occupied with a double kayak rack. lol. We use the kayaks ALOT! So, taking the boat rack off is a bear.. ABout 70% of the time the boats go with us.

Gotcha. Only other options we've considered is fold them in bed of truck (as you are presently doing...or fold, wrap in blankets, put on a cushion and put inside RV in the haulway. I like the the latter idea but wife does not lol.

We also use the same Hyper rack and have had no issues with it. The main thing with a receiver mounted rack, be sure it is rated for RV use. Many are not and you may've to hunt for the info.
