Planning joining GD family soon
Just recently joined the forum after doing my research and looking at some Solitude 5th wheels. We have settled in on the Solitude 380 FLS-R. If everything goes as planned we will order one in the next 5 months. Our plan is to pretty much load it up with options including the 8k axles and double pained windows. I would like opinions on those.
We currently have a 2014 Jayco Eagle Premier 351RLTS pulled with our 2015 Chevy 3500 druamax dually.
We've had 2 travel trailers. This will be our second 5th wheel.
Looking forward to gaining some knowledge on GD 5th wheels. I plan on upgrading our hitch, probably to a goose neck and will have some questions.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the group. There's lots of Solitude owners on here that will be able to guide you with their experience.
IMO I'd definitely go with the 8K axle and DB windows. They shouldn't even be an option. That's a big rig and those 8K axles will not only help carry that weight but also increase your GVWR. DB windows will give you better insulation in hot and cold weather and also sound. No more sweating windows when its cold out.Steph & Lise
