Eternabond roof seal.
So last week, on my 2021 320MKS, I added the Maxxair II fan cover over the bathroom fan (no I'm not posting a mod on that, partially because I forgot to take pictures!). When climbing down the ladder, I noticed a slight gap between the lap sealant the Grand Design used and the metal flange at the back of the roof. When I looked at it closer, it was only in a few spots. I did gently probe it and found that the roof membrane seemed to go under the metal flange.
We took a weekend trip with our RV club to beautiful Eagle Nest, NM this last weekend. Unfortunately, those little gaps bugged me enough that I ordered the 6" wide Eternabond and their cleaner and primer sprays.
They came in on Monday, I was busy with work yesterday so this morning (Wednesday) I went out to the storage lot and went to work.
Again, I forgot to take the before pictures but, I have three after pictures. I did both the back and front caps.
It took longer to get everything up on the roof for me to work than it did to apply the Eternabond!
All in all, it took me less than an hour to do both the back and front.
The little bubble looking things are NOT bubbles! That is where the lap sealant was gooped higher than the rest.
I liken this to putting a tempered glass screen protector on a brand new phone. If you have a bubble under it, it'll annoy the heck out of you! But in the case of Eternabond, it'll give Murphy a place to start to get under it.
(For those of you scratching your head, think Murphy's law... Anything that can go wrong, will.)

Interesting that my Solitude (8/2020 build) came with tape over the rear cap seam area. I went over that with additional Eternabond and did the same thing you did for the front cap seam area. Can't hurt. I did this last fall and check it every couple of months - so far so good.

Looks good. Now you can go back to enjoying camping without that little voice in the back putting doubt.

You job looks better that the factory gooping.
I've got a little corner spot I'm getting ready to fix. I guess I should do the whole edge too. Thanks for the encouragement.

Did you pull up the old sealant or just tape over it? I've been wanting to do this as well. Where did you get the cleaner, amazon?
