Buying Used
I have been "doing homework" for probably 5 years now. We have decided to buy a slightly used trailer. We are hiring an RV inspector first. My problem is not getting dealer orientation, the seller is very nice and has shown me some stuff and answered my questions to the best of HIS knowledge, for which i am grateful. I am concerned about the questions that I don't know to ask. I am afraid I may do damage to something by not knowing how to use it. Is there somewhere I could go to get educated on soon to be new used trailer.
Thank you all for the help over the years
Mark

1. Download the owner's manual and read it. The answers to many of your questions are in the manual.
2. Conduct your own PDI with "hands on" of every system.
3. Contact a forum member with the same model and ask them to be a resource.Jeff and Mary

Depending where you live, you might have someone on the forum nearby who can go over everything with you.

Well I can say that not having a dealer show you the ropes or your trailer isn’t that bad of a thing. Okay I’m very mechanical and love researching shtuff on the internet. When I decided to purchase my 2500rl I ended up knowing more than the guy at the dealer about the new features they were putting on the 2021.
That said just make sure that you know how to operate each system. Plumbing, stove, fridge, electric 12v and 110v. Oh and how each tank works. You are going to learn either way how all those work.
Good luck on your search. If you are in central Iowa I’d gladly help.2021 Imagine 2500RL

If you are stuck in a campground most of your neighbors would be willing to help if asked. I've fixed a few issues for some and made new friends too.

I was able to find a very thorough walkthrough video of the trailer we were considering on YouTube from a dealer that wasn'tours. 45 minutes and it included "pro tips" and pointed to where the water heater was hiding, fuse panel and pump etc.
