    Stovetop burner heating panty wall

Used the stove top burner for the first time and the heat coming from under the frying pan seemed quite warm on the adjoining panty wall, which is wood paneling. I'm thinking about setting a porcelain 18"x18" tile against the pantry wall to avoid any damage to the wall or items in the pantry. Does anyone have any other suggestions? This is in a 2021 Reflection 337RLS,

Warm wood pantys sounds a bit uncomfortable to me unless it's COLD outside
Seriously though, if you can find something not so thick and leave a slight air gap, I don't see why it can't be done.
If it was a large skillet maybe use it on the other side where there is no wall.

I was wondering why you were sitting next to the stove.
