Winegard 360+ in a 2022 Reflection Install Questions

    Hi,

I'm about to install this device in my Reflection. I have the loop in my ceiling. Are these the steps I need to take?

    1. turn off power to the coach and disconnect battery (I don't want to mess with the fuse box)
    2. Cut the loop
    3. Connect the harness black to the loop white and use a cap
    4. Connect the harness red to the switch.
    5. Connect another wire? to the switch and tie into loop with the orange line on it. What size wire do I need for this?
    6. Activate the new sim and test.
    7. If testing works, stuff it all back into the ceiling and mount it.

    Do I have that right?

I'm assuming I have to poke another hole in the ceiling to run the switch wires to and mount that.

Did you get help in figuring this out... I too have a white/orange loop coming down from the port... and I would assume the white is ground and the orange is positive... is that correct?

Yes, I cut that and the white is ground and orange is positive.

Thanks lots for the reply... I had to cut it and then take a volt/ohm meter and verify polarity.... and all is now good...

I did have an issue with losing connectivity to the Gateway, and I think I figured out why... the RV was beside my house, and my tablet kept reconnecting to the home WiFi network... once I told my system to "Forget" the home WiFi network, it seemed to be then stable... and can get access to both my home Wi-Fi and my VZW account via the Gateway... now to see how it works on the road....

Thx again for the reply... always nice to get help from folks!

Mine works great and it picks up a much better signal. Only downfall, at least for now, is that it only works on 4G which when you have multiple things connected, it can get lag. But I work from my RV and my laptop is fast when I'm the only one on it, and both the TV's work fine if the laptop is off.

    Can't wait for the 5G update/upgrade.
