    broken dinette globe

    2nd trip out and a globe from the dinette was found on the table broken. Apparently the holding backed off and down it came. Now it needs to be replaced.

    That sound like a repair you shouldn't have to haul it back to the dealer for.
    I'd just call GD Cust Svc and ask them to send you a replacement globe directly.

    Mine have loosened up in the past, especially when it was new. I tightened them before they fell though. Now, anytime we take a trip, I reach up and see if they wiggle. They are very easy to tighten if they start to loosen up.
