Have you checked fuses on your converter?

First double check you disconnect switch and make sure you cant pull the key out - it can look on but not be. To be on key must be pushed in and the turned and when on it cant be puled out.

As for the converter - is it stand alone or built into the distribution panel. If stand alone be sure it is plugged in to the receptacle. Also check that the fusees on the converter are not blown. If built in the same. Check the beaker in the distribution panel and make sure it is on. Again it can look on and not be, Fully turn it off and the reset to on. Built in converters reside in the Bottom of the distribution panel. Pull the cover and carefully slide the converter out (110 power off) check the fuses on the back of the converter.

Do you have a multimeter - use it to check the output of the computer when 110V is on.

if the genset is auto-starting you might check the voltage it is set to start at.
