I'm curious how much weight is added when replacing RV furniture (usually designed with weight in mind) with residential furniture? I know our living room loveseat in our house is very heavy. I'm guessing the loveseat in our slide out is 1/3 the weight. Wouldn't that have to be a concern?

I think weight is a concern, but the OEM recliners we removed weren't real light either. I think the residential double recliner we replaced them with was heavier but not grossly heavier than the 2 removed. All the ele recliners are made with plenty of metal and think that any of them have some weight behind them. Don't forget to get wall hugging if you get residential reclining furniture.

Will definitely keep all that in mind if we need to replace ours. It would be great to put a loveseat like we have in our house, into the camper. Thanks!

I love ours. During hurricane IDA we had family over to evacuate the storm. We lost power for three days and I ran the RV AC on a 3600 generator. My wife and I slept in the theater seats as the rest of the kids slept in different configurations of couch and floor. I would not have called it comfortable sleep, but at 49 years old there were no aches and pains the next morning. For a "lazyboy" it was reasonably comfortable. I love the seats over the couch. I could not sleep on the couch, it was terrible because I am too tall.
