    Black sealant

Anyone know what that black sealant they are using to seal up some areas is. I have in on the underbelly and sealing the electrical wires headed into the generator compartment.

No, but I wondered the same thing. Wouldn't mind getting a tube of it if it's available.

Thanks much. Didn't realize it's the same as the stuff used on water features. Nice.

I found something pretty close to it at Home depot. It is polyurethane based, sold for sealing roofs. The main difference seems to be it is more of a flat black, than the gloss black in the pic. It worked well and IIRC was about 6.00 a tube

I had to pry some apart and it's really like a foam sealant. It's sticky but also has a "foam" like element to it - at least on my 2022.

Watching as I have the same question. I see this used under the slides where cables pass through also in the 2way fridge (back panel) to seal the compartment at the bottom. I have heard it is polyurethane based and is used on motor homes since it is so durable. The material is very rubbery and soft but yet, cured.

I wonder if this is it? https://www.dyersonline.com/sikaflex...-adhesive.html

No, I think JKWilson is correct in the link he shared for boring-smith expanding foam sealant.

    Black sealant

The OP indicates in post #5 it is not foam-based sealant (like what is used to seal holes/gaps in the underbelly).

The picture posted in #5 does not appear to be foam based.

You have my curiosity now. A tube of it is in my amazon cart.
