Propane hold down rod lose
The DW asked inquisitively how much propane we had left. This in the last days of a 2000+ mile trip. I went out to check and found my hold down rod was NOT threaded into the base plate! So I got that fixed.
When I get home I am going to put a nut on the end of the rod under the base plate. Double nut it.
I will attribute it working loose to the very, very bad freeways we have been traveling. Namely I-65 through Alabama and Tennessee!
So... Check your propane tank hold down rod frequently.Mike & Lisa

You can also use "nyloc" self locking nuts. They should hold.
