    Holding tank setup

Just took delivery of our 2022 297rsts a week ago. Took it out for the first time this weekend. My question is whats the set up on the grey water holding tanks?
What drains into which tank? What size are the tanks? After four days our shower drain was full and the other tank was about 1/4. According to our monitor tank 1 is the shower since it read full, the valve in the storage compartment seems to be #1 . Seems like it filled pretty quick.

Your bathroom gray water is in one tank and your kitchen sink is in the other
Don’t know the sizes but what some do is put a gate valve on your sewer pipe and open both gray valves
This will allow tank 1 to equalize with tank 2

Depending on how many people there are and how many and length of the showers, 4 days ain't bad. As @NB Canada mentioned, by installing a waster gate valve at the end of your sewer pipe, you can probably gain a day or more.

Install a gate valve before your sewer pipe and keep it closed then open both grey tanks and they will fill up the pipes equalizing between tanks
Then when time to dump just open the end gate valve

Soooooo, from the gray tank valves inboard to the gate, the pipe will be full of gray until you dump it.
Hmmm, that will give a couple days extra of shower time.

You would not want to do this on a really cold trip. The pipe and it's contents would not be in the heated underbelly.
