Whether you use the EZ-Lube system is up to you, but it really is more of a marketing idea than a necessary device. Properly greased wheel bearings will last a very long time, both mileage and time, before they need attention again. I grease mine every few years, and they've always been fine. I used the EZ-Lube once or twice, but simply couldn't see any real need for it. The wheel bearings are pretty much a self-contained system with the grease remaining in the bearings.

Any good high-temp wheel bearing grease is fine - many like the Lucas Oil 10005 Red 'N' Tacky grease.
Quick question on the grease. . . . I've seen mention of Lucas Red N Tacky preferred in other discussions, however I don't see it on the recommended grease list from Dexter. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Did Grand Design switch brake assembly manufacturers on newer models?
My 22RBE came with Lippert brake assemblies not Dexter.

There's lots of great greases out there. I use Amsoil, others like Lucas, Valvoline, etc. As long as it's nlgi#2 you'll be fine. Don't mix brands IMO.

If you follow the maintenance schedule you will be changing it every year. Probably hard to find a grease that wouldn't last that long.
