FIXED -- All Speakers are DEAD...

I am a bit lost on what to do next with my audio system in my new Reflection 337.
    Here is what works:
The DVD plays thru the TV and I get DVD audio out of the TV.
The CD will play audio out thru the TV.
If I plug in headphones I can listen to DVD audio, CD audio and RADIO.

    What does NOT work:
Nothing ... I mean not even static comes out of any speaker in the trailer.

The Furrion DV-3100 has been replaced (Thank You GD) but, the symptoms did not change.
I cannot find any obvious wire breaks behind the Furrion unit. All splices seem to be connected.
I unplugged the speaker connector from the Furrion unit. With my digital multimeter I measure the resistance through each speaker … each reads 8-10 ohms.
I measured each speaker connection at the radio and each one reads the same resistance.
I have used the Furrion reset button many times ... still no speaker sound.

Since the Furrion DV-3100 seems to be working (thru TV & headphones) and we did have speaker sound during the delivery walk-thru...
I am just totally baffled as to what could have caused the all speakers to go silent.
ALL attempts to communicate with Furrion have also resulted in the same total silence (i.e. NO Response).

What easy simple thing am I missing?
    Thanks, Mike

    Hi Mike,

On our system, the sound comes from the TV headphone jack, through a 1/8" to RCA jack adapter, into the Aux input to the Furrion unit. I didn't think our sound system was working until I realized that the sound output at the headphone jack is at really low volume. We crank the Furrion volume up to 30+ and then control to normal volume through the trailer speakers with the TV remote. Don't know if this will help your situation or not. I also tried to contact Furrion by email and phone, with never any response.

    Hey Rob
Is that some thing you added ... (the sound comes from the TV headphone jack, through a 1/8" to RCA jack adapter, into the Aux input to the Furrion unit.)
I have nothing connected the Furrion Aux input in the back.

Just the video and L/R audio out to the TV

    Hi Mike,

This is all OEM wiring as supplied by GD. Now . . . as received, it wasn't plugged in correctly and I had to sort this out . . . but I didn't add anything.

I find in interesting (but not surprising) that our Haier TV is NOT connected from the head phone out to the auxiliary in on the Furrion. I mean really, how ridiculous is it that Haier has such inadequate outputs. If we were to play a DVD in the Furrion, then we would have sound through the ceiling speakers but we do not get sound through the Furrion if we are just watching TV. Of course we do not use the Furrion for anything but playing music. We have a Sony Blu-ray player for our movies and streaming video.

That's why we will end up spending our money twice and purchasing a quality HD TV to replace that POS. Maybe we'll move it out to the storage but I've never been much for watching TV outside. Maybe it would be cool for sports!

Our 337 is connected to the headphone jack as well. I was puzzled at first, but it actually works good. The TV volume controls the stereo output. We set the Furion about 18-20 on the volume and leave it alone.

Just remember to turn the volume back down before you turn the radio on next morning . . . or else, the whole campground knows !! (Ask me how I know this . . . ).

Ours is also as Rob describes.

I still don't believe it is functioning as it should though after testing it and if you look at the picture I posted here you will notice that the "subwoofer out" which is where the sound is connected is "tri-zoned" it plays in the living room, bedroom and outside) in my BHS323. The audio input on video 1 only plays in the living room. The audio input on video 2 only plays in the bedroom.

So I re-hooked the audio to video 1 from the TV (only plays in the living room).

I hooked up a bluetooth module to the subwoofer which plays everywhere. Now I can hook my phone up (without wires) and stream pandora, google music, etc, to everywhere in the rig.

We have that in our 313 TT also. Play the sound thru the Furion set up, and have no problems. the TV actually works quite well, and has a great picture. Had a swivel wall bracket installed when we bought the RV, and so far have had no problems. Have not used the Furion DVD player yet, and am installing a Sony blue ray player also.
