2021 Imagine 3100RD - 3 months old, slide motor failure.

My camper is only a few months old and the "clutches" on the slide out motor are totally wasted.
how pathetic is this? This is a large slide that blocks access to the camper. you cannot move it out manually as that is only
for a power failure. There is no issue with the power and the motor turns fine.

So far now the list is -
Water leaking right were the lines attach to the pump , completely flooding my pass thru storage and everything in it.
Screw fell out of the skirting
Water leaking from the underbelly ? dealer is presuming the overflow hose wasn't done properly.
Water dripping when it rains literally right on the entry door. ( the awning track is 2 pieces and wasn't calked )
Wall paper was coming off in the bedroom.

At this rate I'm sure it will continue to grow.

Rack and pinions slides have a crank and schwintek slides you disconnect the module and it will push out

This is a mechanism problem - the Gear pack is jumping teeth.

Everything your referring to is for motor failures

Sometimes the shear pins do what they are supposed to do, and the slide won't move, instead of breaking the gears.

Honestly I don't know - All My info is from the dealer and Grand Design. Like I said the unit is 3-4 months old, I certainly
am not turning any bolts lol.
