At first I was hoping for a easy button but really It was more of a vent/ rant I guess -

maybe your missing the "its 3- 4 months old and had a catastrophic failure" part

It is a hand built item that isn’t bulletproof

I'm with you brother. I bought my 22mle last October. Roof leaking in addition to numerous other issues. Scheduled inspection with RV dealership this week. been waiting months. Zero, did I say zero empathy from Grand Design. Simply stated, these issues should not be occurring. Base on some of the responses, I swear I think some of these people work for Grand Design.

My apologies- I’m from a time when “hand built” meant the highest quality done by the finest craftsmen. ( Lamborghini and Viper come to mind ) you apparently use it as an excuse?

There is no excuse for total slide out failure within 3.months period .

In the end this for fixed by completely replacing the motor.

The answer is NO you cannot necessarily always open / close a slide out when they fail in certain ways.

Yes sir - like I said in the end they r&r’d the motor.
Made some slide adjustments and I’ve successfully had it out on 1 trip so far since.
