I have had a couple of different gas griddle setups, last year i made the move to an electric griddle. I find clean up much easier and I move it around with ease. It takes up a lot less room over all and its much lighter.

Well, my bday is today, the 21st. Yesterday was my SIL's bday. He and my daughter live on my land so we got together last night to celebrate. My wife got me a 22" Walmart Black Friday special. Cool right? Little does she know that under the bed in the rig is the same Blackstone I bought her for Christmas.

Late last week the Prime delivery guy delivered a 17 inch Blackstone with no ID as to
who sent it. I waited 5 days for someone to ask if we received it to no avail.
I conditioned it as I wanted a 17 for the trailer and could leave the 22 at home.
While cooking burgers my son called and asked if we received our present.
After he said he told me about it in an E card I told him that unless the postman delivered
it it was not a card.

Well the igniters on my new Blackstone don't work. No noise, no spark. Any ideas from you seasoned BS users?

Got to ask the obvious: Batteries good, and proper orientation? Make sure they didn't get knocked too far away from the gas tubes. Too far and they won't make a spark, no spark, no noise.

You can probably contact Blackstone and they would likely ship you a new ignitor, but a new one is only a few bucks. It's a toss-up.

Possibly I am wrong (not the first time) but I am under the impression that is something called "Piezo-electric ignition" and does not use batteries, unlike some other Blackstone products. I will research more and possibly contact BS since I have now registered it.
