That is also on the list to try and check next. Although I'm less sure of what to be looking for with those.

Honestly though, the hot air doesn't bother me. It stays plenty cool in here. The smelly gasses that hilot air is mixing with is the issue.
    Hi Hogrunr,

I would take a look at the pipes you showed in your third pic, definitely evidence of leaking there.

OK found the kitchen sink one essay enough. Unscrewed it and was immediately smacked in the face with the strong black tank smell. What an i looking for with this to know if it is functioning properly?

Given the age, there's a strong possibility that's it's due to be replaced. Lowes's and Home Depot stock them, and they're not expensive.

Got it. I can handle that. Now to figure out how to get access to the one in the main bathroom.

Grabbed a couple from home depot and they don't fit. Not sure why they say they'll fit 1.5 inch pipe, as the threaded male end is clearly 2" and my pipes are 1.5 inch female opening. Ordered different ones from Amazon arriving tomorrow.

They should fit as they come with reducers. At least the one's I've bought there did. I bought the Oatey brand.
    Anyways good luck.

I see that as well, zoom in on the upper part of the picture and look at the red and blue water lines. There is a white crust on them that is normally deposits from hard water evaporating. It would indicate a slow leak someplace in that area.

I thought this as well, but they just don't for whatever reason. The pipe is still too small for the reducer. But that's OK, right ones coming in tomorrow.
