Screw Into Frame to Add Sewer Hose Storage
I just purchased this from Amazong: Valtera Sewer Host Storage.
It has self tapping screws with it. I am able to just screw them right through the frame to mount this? Or do I have to drill pilot holes first, or perform another action?Ed & Kaitlin

At least drill a starter hole as deep as the tip of the drill bit so the self tapping "TEK" screw does not walk around. I generally use a drill bit the size of the inside diameter of the self tapping screw.

With self-tapping screws you will need a hole. Self-drilling screws are another matter and should go through the frame just fine with an impact driver.
I used the beam clamps as @Kevin2282 did and that's how I'd go if doing it again.Last edited by jkwilson; 08-10-2021 at 09:22 AM.

I used i-beam clamps (or pipe hangers) as well for a 2nd tube...so no frame drilling/screwing. I also ran a strap across from the stock tube mount for extra security.

Those U-bolts are a great idea. Those plastic mounting flanges are pretty flimsy.

If you have hydraulic levelers, which you may not, this is what I did on mine. The holes are already there in the hydraulic leg and the holes are 9/16" diameter. You can use 1/2" bolts if you like, but I special ordered some 9/16" bolts, lock nuts, and flat washers. I also used Aluminum angle instead of steel for two reasons....it's lighter weight, and it will not rust. Downside is that it's more expensive than steel. Obviously this isn't the sewer tube you have, but the mounting of it would be very similar to the 5" vinyl post that I used, except I had to strap mine down, and you have mounting flanges on the tube.
