I used beam clamps on mine as well. I used blue Loctite as insurance. I also used jam nuts to minimize the ability of the bolt to rotate.
I got my clamps at Lowe’s https://www.lowes.com/pd/STEEL-CITY-...-Clamp/3306532John & Kathy

Hi John,
I used lock nuts on everything. I have not noticed anything coming loose. It’s all tight after several years of use. I got my beam clamps at my local Lowes several years ago. They don’t carry that 3/8” medium size anymore. They have 1/4” tiny ones or very large 3/8” versions.
