2800BH Pricing
We are considering purchasing a new 2022 Imagine 2800BH with theater seating and 2 AC units. The best price we have been quoted is $37,700. We do understand prices have increased but this still seems high to us. Is this in the ballpark of what they are selling for now or should we continue to shop around for better pricing? We are located in Arkansas.

Under the “pre-pandemic rules,” 30% off of MSRP was a good target for negotiation. With supply chain issues, order backlogs, price increases, and a crazy market, the price you are being quoted is not terribly surprising. Let’s wait and see what folks who’ve made recent purchases have to say.

Is that out of the door? Or just camper?
I bought a 2021 in May with 1 AC for 30k camper.
Area does matter and I have seen a couple of price increases since.

Just providing a single data point for a reference; my brother just sold a 2018 2800BH this week. It was in very good condition, he got $28k.

The only numbers I can provide are what ours were in June 2020, last year for our 2970RL
2021 2970RL
MSRP $44,569
Paid: $34,700 - 24.9 % below MSRP
CURRENT MSRP: $52,248 from GD website - $7,679 or $15% increase.
2022 2800BH
CURRENT MSRP $47,551 from GD website
Your best quoted price of $37,700 is 23% below MSRP. So yes I would say that is a good price. There comes a point of diminishing returns. You could continue looking and driving and spend $1,000 to save $300.
If you go to RV Trader.com that model is being listed for quite a bit more than the $37,700.
We were holding out for that mythical 30% off MSRP a year ago but it wasn't happening. Just like it certainly won't happen now. If you really want a TT then go for it. You said you are 'considering' so it doesn't sound like you are in that big of a hurry. So I guess you could wait. But I don't think you are going to find a much better price than that in the immediate future. I have been told there are some good Grand Design dealers in Mississippi. You could check there.
The biggest thing - if you are happy with that amount then it is a good price. If you're not happy with the price then you should pass. Buyers remorse is never a good way to start a relationship with your new RV. JMOMike & Lisa

I'll chime in from what seems to be the worst region to buy in, Southern California. I spoke with literally every dealer in CA/NV/AZ and a few in OR/UT. I paid $39,750 for 2022 with dual A/C, theater seating, Goodyear tires, etc. This included a roughly $4500 freight line item. Another way to look at this deal was $35,250 + freight, being that freight is highly dependent on dealer and location.
From my experience, dealers were not very aggressive out here. There is a lot of demand out here right now.

We got a 2021 (trifold with single AC) in the spring, it was about $37k out the door with a Reese Dual Cam Sway hitch installed.
