    Water heater trying to light.

I have a 22 LDE with the on demand water heater. Through all the discussions, I know about the newer ones lighting to keep from freezing. I checked my number and I do have one of the newer ones that does this. Trailer is stored in an insulated non heated shed. Temp is down to 38 degrees and shouldn't drop any lower. Got a heater going in the trailer to keep it at 40 BUT, Water heater keeps trying to light with the gas turned off.
Is that going to hurt anything?

It seems unlikely that the water heater would be damaged by trying to start. However, if it were me, I would try to cut off power to the water heater.

Good idea, I think there is a rocker switch behind the outside access panel.
