    Theater seating

All controls and lights went out at the same time on both recliners no fuses blown and no breakers tripped. Any suggestions?

Could they have come unplugged from the outlet? I'd test that outlet if you say the GFCI and breaker are good.

The plugs vibrate out all the time. Just get used to checking periodically.

Seems like this happens a lot. I think that it would be more reliable to just remove those bulky transformers and run the chairs off the 12v system. Has anyone done this? The transformers are just converting to 12 VDC at 2 amps.

This happens all the time to me. Finally plugged in a power strip laying on the floor. That takes the weight off the plug site and the connection is still protected. If, when, it comes loose, the theater seating simply slides away from the wall. They aren't secured.

Our theater seats are screwed into the floor.

Oh, good idea! Then we can also plug in a couple of laptop cords and leave them by our chairs rather than string them across the floor!
