Thread: RV Airflow

It's the real deal. GD and RV Airflow have partnered and GD is buying massive quantities. Though I haven't heard of any dealer willing to sell it at its cost, which is what was posted - our dealer marks everything up two-fold (not an exaggeration). The OE P/N also doesn't include the transitions, but shouldn't need them as they're factory pieces on racetrack systems.
Alternatively, if you attend any Rally RV Airflow is at, the rally price is a big discount.Rob & Nikki + Cloverfield

Thanks for the tip! Looks like it’s for Coleman Mach 3 which is great for all you with newer units. We have Dometic Brisk Air 2 which RV Airflow supports but it does not show up in the GD parts list since it appears they don’t use Dometic any more.

I have one for the second AC I installed that is still sitting in the box. I guess I need to get off my duff and get it installed.

I've looked at a few. I'm still in the research mode.
I'll look at that Curtis. I studied HVAC in school many years ago. I understand airflow. The easier it is to get in, the easier it will be to move around. Less sharp corners and flat dead ends.

The ac mod has already been proven to provide increased airflow, however, I do agree that the mod versus rv airflow product, rv airflow will win for exactly the reasons stated, mod has less cubic area for air return and sharp corners versus smooth curves and greater air return capacity. Home made version will still net substantial gains.

Also chiming in! Like many, we're here at the GDRV National Owner's Rally.
I bought two Airflow kits yesterday and installed them. The wife actually asked me to turn the temperature warmer! Our middle A/C never seemed to be that great until now. And FAR quieter.
We have three A/C units, so I went back this afternoon and bought another!
Now I just need to install the two SoftStartRV kits! Shouldn't take more than an hour, but the wife knows me well -- "so it'll take you three hours?" so I can't start on it before the Casino Night now!2018 GD Momentum 399TH • 2019 Ford F-350 (DRW)
