They have a "show" discount, I think it's 20%. But they were still $145/each. Ooof. Someone earlier in this thread mentioned getting them from GD for $50 something. Didn't know anything about that. But I can say that the improved airflow, reduced noise and better temperature in the house from a (what we believed to be a poor performing AC unit) was worth it.

The real price, though, are those SoftStartRV units. I would've liked three, but they were $299 each. And Future Sales adds 3% for credit card charges, so....ouch. But we really want to do more boondocking, or at least run the genny less, so I've been planning on getting these for over a year. I'll probably add to the front and back AC units. The garage unit is only 13.5K BTU, so that and the bedroom unit, now with better ducted airflow, should cover us 99% of the time.

Has anyone ever bought straight from the Airflow company and if so what was their shipping time? Thinking about getting one but leaving for a month on the 10th. They don't take calls as they are changing over to a new phone system.

Another happy RVAIRFLOW customer. I was skeptical about adding two (mach10 and Mach3) after one of the members here pulled his 2nd one out as he thought the effectiveness was diminished but I spoke with RVAIRFLOW and they convinced me to try.

That said, I took airflow data on my dedicated and shared ducts demonstrating there is a noticeable improvement as advertised. A reduction in noise as well. The overall average improvement in airflow for all 10 ducts in my rig was 67%.

One final note, to really get all the improvement out of the system, ensure you seal each duct to the ceiling so as not to loose any cool air to the attic.

It improves the flow from the air conditioning unit into the race track.

Your link is the RV Airflow product that fits into the plenum of the ac unit. The racetrack is a reference to the ducting in the ceiling that wraps around the rig in a racetrack format to the registers.

Gotcha. Have not had too much issue this far but then I have not been in 118 like some of you. Will need to check it out before heading out west.
