Rv airflow systems
Hi~
I’m a GD Solitude owner (377 MBS-R) and full-timer since 2017. I’m also a single girl who hires everything done on this thing (poor life choices, I know….. Lol).
I’m really wanting to purchase a couple of these for my rig. Does anyone know of who installs these in the Austin, Texas area? I called and emailed the Airflow people directly and they said they know of no one in all of Texas who installs these. ??
Even regular mobile techs are extremely hard to find in this area. Any info would be extremely helpful.
Many thanks!!

And that is unfortunate. The instructions that came with ours from RV Airflow were very good. I also watched an early YouTube video made by the owner doing an install at an RV rally. I do agree that of all the videos I watched only one talked about moving the ac unit, that was Chad from Changing Lanes. My guess is he talked about it because he actually had to reposition one of them.

Hi Tracer, first, welcome to the site! Glad to have you here.
I feel this is something you can do. If you purchased from RV Airflow you should have excellent instructions. None of this is overly technical just tedious with all the taping. You may need to adapt as some have pointed out, the installations of the AC units themselves and the related ductwork has great variability on quality. Other than that, you can do it!
It took me about 30 minutes to do the whole install.
Good Luck!2019 GMC 3500 SRW Sierra Denali Duramax

RV Airflow
We purchased a RV Airflow unit ….it was very expensive as it came with our new 303RLS. Lolol
Quite impressed with the increase in velocity in the ( front) bedroom area….Especially since the AC unit is in the rear of the trailer.

What exactly do these things do? I am a little slow, but can't figure it out. Thanks.

If you have a ducted air system, where any air conditioner can push air into the ducts, these vastly improve that feature. They render the dump vents useless, in fact they only become more of an intake than an output. For our rig, with Coleman Mach units, these have really, really improved the airflow. So, two or three a/c's work together much more efficiently. In addition, in our case, they also reduced noise, since air doesn't leak out of the vents or the a/c unit directly. They also put a large barrier between the "hamster wheel" and the area that's visible (the vent cover).
