2022 f250 6.7 ccsb lariat ordered ?
I have ordered a 2022 F250 6.7 Diesel CCSB (FX4) Lariat with just about every option with exception of the Moon Roof. It has the High capacity tow rating and adds the higher gross weight of 10,800 for the truck. I also opted for the Camper package to get the added front and rear auxillary springs.
Does any one currently have this set-up and can tell me there payload number ? I am expecting/hoping for around 3,000 payload,,,
Another member here that I have been emailing has the similiar truck but speced just a little different, and he has 2850 payload which is also good. What ever it is it will tow mt GD 2600RB like a dream. I also have the Reflection 278BH Fifth wheel in mind for the future and it should tow that fine as well.
Thx,
Joe

I would guess that 2800 lbs of payload would be a reasonable number.

,,,I was thinking that it may be more because I added the Camper Package however I definately hope its a minimum of 2800 plus. I have researched this and the optimism in me thinks around 3100 lbs payload. Only because the Camper Package was added that includes as mentioned extra spring pack. Maybe some-one will chime in with the exact set-up.

I just throw this out there, but it's still just a guess unless you find someone that has the same exact truck...or you receive your truck and then you will know.
I had a 2011 F250 Diesel, 4x4, CrewCab, with the XLT package on it....not the completely loaded up version like a King Ranch or Platinum, etc. That truck had 2148 lb of payload as it came from the factory. I know since then they are now using aluminum more than they did back then, but....that truck had the "normal" 10,000 lb GVWR and 2148 lbs of payload. If you up the GVWR to 10,800, you might think that the payload would jump up to an additional 800 lbs...and that might be true if we were comparing identical trucks......XLT vs. Loaded up Lariat....old school steel vs. more aluminum....10,000 vs. 10,800. Thus the reason for my guess of around 2800 lbs of payload....hopefully for you, it will turn out to be more. Or, you could have just ordered a F350 for not much more.2016 F350 CrewCab Dually

Thanks Xrated,
I understand about the F350 Payloads. I looked hard but for my use and weight limits, etc etc the F250 fit the bill. I have a ''CDL A'' license and plan to use this truck in a part time business, so there is weight/Insurance/Reg issures so thats why the F250. I test drove the identical Truck in a 2021 Model (Brand New) that had just come in when I was placing my deposit on my order and it was amazing. As I know all you folks that have them it was night and day difference from my F150. I didnt want to go back into my F150 after the test drive,,, lol And, that was a 3:31 gearing that I drove. I ordered the 3:55 which will give me even more punch off the line and tow grunt. As I said, I have driven the gas F250 and now this 6.7 and they are both great but my needs were for a Diesel. )

In your situation, with the part time business and Insurance and registration costs/fees, I would like be doing the same thing as long as the F250 met all the needs that I have for towing and payload capacity. It sounds like you've been thorough in thinking it through. Good job!

No disrespect intended but I think you will need to manage your expectations. 3K payload on the truck you are describing is quite optimistic. I suspect you will be in the 2700 range. I truly hope you see the payload numbers you are expecting. Please post you actual number when you take delivery.

I think you’ll have an awesome truck configured well to do work. I can also say with some certainty that the upgraded springs won’t add payload, although they will help the truck work harder.
Why? You are dealing with a hard and fast 10,800 GVWR. The heavier springs will add weight to the truck, which ultimately will actually serve to subtract payload. Payload as published is simply the difference between your GVWR and your empty weight. Adding heavier duty stuff, while good overall, cant increase payload if it doesn’t increase the GVWR.2022 Transcend Xplor 240ML

Here’s a similar 2021, but this one has moonroof. Yours will likely be about 80 lbs lighter so it gets you 80 lbs more payload. https://www.windowsticker.forddirect...8W2BT8MED86535
This one has a 2711 lb payload with F350 CCSB with 10,800 GVWR.Jerry & Linda
