In 2021, what you have experienced is 100% expected from any RV manufacturer. Built like pooh, shipped ASAP and sold for MSRP.

Well, it may not be normal, but it isn't unheard of either.

I just got mine in June and have a long list of issues. Rear AC trips breaker, basement doors come open during travel, generator lasted 27 hours and I think it needs a new pump, dryer drum is rubbing metal to metal as it turns, outside skirt is lose, three season door comes off will driving, last day on our second trip and refrigerator stopped working. Many trim issues. Take it in on the 26th and likely won’t see it for some months. All in all. It’s perfect!

FWIW, these are good reasons to buy used. The first owner has fixed most of the minor problems, and all of the major ones.

Bought my 303RLS at the end of June. Maiden voyage was 3200 miles from Seattle the Omaha NE. Part of I90 were very rough. Toured through the South Dakota Bad Lands on SD44. Extremely rough road. Only issues was the 3-part recliner sofa fell apart. These are only clipped together and any amount of bouncing can cause them to come apart. I thought we would have more issues. We are very pleased with the construction and how it held up over the rough roads. I did slow down. Speed limit was 60mph. I did 50mph.

Or sold it because of a reoccurring problem that won't go away. I've read too many posts about RV owners wanting to trade in their RV because they're sick of dealing with reoccurring problems or new problems constantly popping up.
But yeah generally during the 1st 6 months to a year most normal problems are fixed.
To the OP, yes it's normal but not right. Normal in the sense that it's just the luck of the draw whether you get one like yours or one like the owner that has zero issues. The one made right before or after yours was probably less problematic.Last edited by goducks14; 08-26-2021 at 08:16 AM.

You're lucky...on my last one both air conditioners leaked...even when not running, the slide outs would drift out when driving down the road, the fridge door opened during travel, the fridge went into high temp limit, a gap opened over one window and the wall and the window treatments fell off. That was the first trip....we had to go from VA to Key West and back to NH with the slide out and ac issues
...not one RV tech could figure out the hydraulics or the AC's.
Of all of your issues, the only one that would concern me is the gouge in the floor. That's hard to easily fix.
It can be very frustrating. If you are not a DIY person, I would argue that RVing isn't for you.
They take a pounding and need lots of TLC. Good luck...it should all work out!
If your fridge is a two door it probably needs the door raised for the latch pin to fully engage. It's a 5 minute fix...just adding a washer under the bottom hinge.
