    Bathroom floor noises

    2022 303rls
    New, 7th RV
When walking near shower, we hear obvious squeaking from the floor near shower. It sounds like the Styrofoam under the shower pan. I have loosened and tightened the screws, no change. Tried WD 40, no change. Thought maybe the drain was rubbing when the pan flexed, but plenty of clearance. Any ideas?

My new 313bhs has the same noise. Sounded like the beam was loose under the shower where it hooked to the wall.
My 29RS has a squeaky floor , but this was something worse.
It is I’m the shop right now with that item on the list of repairs it needs. I’ll let you know what they find

In my Imagine I had a terrible squeak near the shower and determined it was the toilet water supply line going through the grommet in the wall
    Plastic against plastic
I just wrapped it with TP and the noise went away

I have a similar noise when walking by the shower. I noticed that if I leave the shower doors all the way open the sound ‘mostly’ goes away.
I can’t really pinpoint the exact cause. I’m not sure if the doors are causing it, or whether shifting the weight of the doors affecting is something else.
It does sound like styrofoam squeaking , and it is very annoying.

Squeaky floors are a commonly reported issue in all brands of RVs. Sometimes you can find the cause and shim between a joist and the sub-floor... sometimes you can't. If you use the search function on the forum and look for "floor squeak," you'll find dozens of threads and possibly some ideas that will help.

BTW - welcome to the forum! You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

I said I would report on my warranty work on floor squeaking, I just got my trailer back after 60 days in service department.
They put 2 supports under floor beam joist. It made a noticeable difference.
We will see how in wears in over the winter.
We will be in AZ for 6 mo.
    Cheers

If you have the curved shower doors, it's the little rollers at the bottom of the shower door. Open the doors and then walk by. The noise will be gone.

I just purchased my 29RS and I have not played with it much, but they are just tiny wheels that are spring loaded. I suspect a good silicone spray grease [HHS 2k] will resolve the issue. It should be a real simple fix.

Not always. We pretty much keep the doors open on the shower when we're in the rig. The floor squeak is still there between the shower and door into the bedroom whether the doors are open or closed (when someone's showering).

Can you post pictures of what the dealer did to help alleviate the squeak?
