WFCO Converter/Charger
I have a WFCO Model WF-8735P-GE Power Center in my new trailer. In the past, the converter/charger was a separate unit from the breaker/fuse panel. I bought a lithium battery so anticipated upgrading the converter charger. I looked behind the power center and there is no separate box. The manual refers to the charging capabilities but doesn't specifically state whether it is a separate component if it is now all one combined unit.
Anyone able to confirm that the new power centers are all-in-one? If not, any idea where the converter charger would be located on my model of trailer?
If it is all in one, I guess upgrading to a lithium converter charger becomes a bit more complex?
Thanks!Chad

WFCO makes a lot of different configurations, both built in converters and straight power panels. That model number seems to be a converter without a 120v panel Many of the newer converters are lithium capable, 14.4 v is good! If you have space behind going to a separate converter might not be a big deal.
I suggest you get detailed info from the WFCO website and the labels on your gear.Rick

Hi Riverbug,
Your particular model converter does have an ac distribution panel. Some of the converter models do have the converter/charger portion integrated into the distribution panel and others are separate. Yours is integrated and on the bottom part of unit. Many have upgraded the converter/charger portion by removing it from that bottom shelf and purchasing a deck mount u it that can be connected. It is pretty simple to do, just a matter of disconnecting the ac in and out lines and connecting them to the deck mount unit. There are a few YouTube videos on it.
Good Luck,

Thanks for the replies. I did find more information about this panel. It looks like I can either swap out the power center for a version that includes lithium capable charging or I may use it as is until I decide on my solar needs and put in an inverter charger tied into the existing power center.
