Sauced, are you saying that you and a lot of us, spend a wallet full of money on a lock that will open in 30 seconds with a scribe?

Scribe... Oh, man! <GROAN> I think we have derailed this thread enough.
To the OP: Did you get the pin lock off? If so, please share for others that might have the same issue.Mark & Mary. Full-timing across the USA (and Canada)!

Yonder, I did get it off with a scribe, but would have never been able to do it that way without the key to move the lock and allow the pin to go back in. However, it seems to me the weak spot on the sleeve lock is the lock itself. With a bit of time and an angle grinder, I figure I could have cut it in a few minutes.
Moon Shadow, Yes it came off. I have since replaced the lock with CURT 23255 5th Wheel Trailer Lock for 2-Inch King Pin from Amazon. Seems sturdy, but it will only deter. Hopefully, a thief will move to an easier target.

This is what I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DQ3F3HC...ing=UTF8&psc=1
It's by War-lok. Yes, it's expensive.

I also use WarLok.
Grew up in a trucking company. We used them to keep trailers from wandering off. Seen many that showed attempted opening but nothing short of a saw or torch or a really,REALLY good lock picker is gonna get it off.
Also, register your keys. And have spares in a secure location.

I use one of these... Not expensive but works well. If you put it on with the key facing up it's next to impossible to get the to the cylinder to try and punch it out or drill it.

I used a simple "U" shaped pin lock on our rig until one year in December, the lock on the pin that went through the "U" froze. Had to end up cutting the pin off with a pneumatic cut off tool, to hitch up and go. Later I bought a cup style pin lock similar to what others have listed for the hitch which I've only used in warm weather months. If this style pin lock freezes it would be a real pain to get it off. May not use it in freezing weather.
