Leveling
Has anyone determined the degrees out of level you need to be before the auto level system lifts a tire off the ground? It’s a pita to find the need to add blocks after unhooking and pulling the truck away.

Why would you be concerned? It does no harm to have a tire or two off the ground. Unless your owner's manual expressly forbids it anyway.

I lay a carpenters level across the floor just inside the door. If it's more than a half bubble off I drive it up on Linx blocks then auto level. I also put 5 Linx blocks under the rear pads to make sure I don't over-extend the jacks and cause the system to lock up.
My wife tells me i'm a half bubble off all the time.2010 Jayco 26(SOLD)

If mine is 1"-2" out of level, side to side, I'll use the Anderson level rockers to bring that side up the needed height. If it's more than that, I try to find a place on the pad that gives me that difference, or less.
Keep in mind I have 5ver, not a travel trailer. With the electric jacks on my trailer, I did, accidentally, raise it off the tires on one side.

Shoot, I don't even have a level anymore.
Does it say in the manual not to have a tire off the ground? I've read through my manual, and I don't believe that was mentioned anywhere.
Or did I overlook it?Howard and Peggy
