    AC is blowing fan only

Having to run my AC with a generator due to hurricane Ida. The thermostat is stuck on 37 and the compressor won’t come only, but the fan is blowing. Any suggestions it is really hit here
    Thanks

    AC is blowing fan only

    Good Morning,

First, glad all is ok with you after such a huge storm!

Since you mentioned that the thermostat is stuck at 37 which equates to 98 degrees f it kind of makes sense that the compressor is not kicking on.

I would start with the thermostat having issues. If you have 2 ac units, you could swap a known good thermostat to see if the ac kicks in.

I really don’t know how much can be done if it is the thermostat besides replacing. Maybe some people with more knowledge can chime in with maybe a way to bypass the thermostat to either confirm diagnosis or take it out of the equation for further evaluation or just to get it working for now.

    Good luck!

Sounds like this to me, too. Many RV thermostats are switchable between F and C by holding down the up and down buttons at the same time for a few seconds. Check the manual for your thermostat for the proper procedure.

    AC is blowing fan only

I think the key is that the OP said it is stuck. I am assuming if he could change it he would.

Yes stuck on celsius, but the kicker is I was able to get a new thermostat this afternoon and installed it but it too was stuck on 37, and that was confusing, but I did get it changed to F and we have AC, a big thanks to the forum again, and my wife really happy.
    Thanks again

And that is why this forum is beyond great.
Just the right bit of info and things get fixed. That would take 50 to 100 posts on FB.
