Ac pulling through an open vent is less pressure than through the return ac filter.
When you open the closet and feel the air on the bottom shelf it is 30 degrees hotter.
I closed the vent with cardboard and it cooled off.
Back to my original question, where is the warm air being drawn from on the heater return air?

Most likely, yes. The heater "return" only feeds air to he open air basement, not directly to the furnace, so you're essentially drawing air from the basement.

That is what I thought. Me cent heat has very little volume so I suspect I have a duct leaking into the underbelly

Anyone with a Momentum 349 needs to see if they have hot air being drawn into their trailer through the heater return vent. I blocked it off with cardboard and my living room is staying 3-4 degrees cooler during the hot afternoon.

Great info - I'll check this next time I'm running the A/C.

    Thanks!
