Dining table/recliner slide will not go out. Please offer trouble shooting suggestions! Thank you. We have a 2020 Solitude SClass 3350RL.

When you press the button to extend the slide, do you hear the motor or not?

Yes...the motor is trying to do it's thing. It sounds like it can't grab the gear or whatever or something is out of alignment. Been looking at YouTube videos to see if we can find anything useful there. Thanks for the reply!

Likely broken shear bolt on the drive shaft. You'll need to open the underbelly to have a look and probably will find the broken bolt. Can be replaced with Grade 2 hardware store bolt.

We had similar sounding issue on our 3550 this summer. Kitchen slide wouldn't go in/out but motor was turning as you could hear it respond to the panel switch. We ran into a GD road tech at the campground we had the issue at and he opened up a corner of the belly just to find the bolts that hold the motor up had fallen out...the motor was laying on the coroplast. Bolts no where to be found so he had to grab bolts out of a slide assembly in his trailer. 15 minutes of work and all was good again. No problems since. As others mentioned you can put the main slides in and out with the hand crank and it doesn't take all that much effort to move them. Look for the hole in the skirt on the kitchen slide and it will run the dining slide.

Yes I know we are very lucky to run into him especially when we have issues. We actually camp the same week at this particular campground every year and he's been there the last 4-5 years camping with his siblings at the same time. GD schedules his service calls around him using this week of vacation time as he always has his company truck and trailer with him. So even though he's not on the clock he still takes time to talk with and resolve any issues us GD owners have while he is there. A couple years ago he didn't have the parts we needed and so he ordered them from the mother ship and they were on the porch when we got home. I've had him do window reseals, slide maintenance and now this year the motor issue. Plus the kids hit him up for new GD swag every year and come home with new hats and a bag of GD goodies. It's like winning the lottery every year but GD service style!
