Kantleak valve replacement
Replaced the existing Kantleak valve on our 2015 Reflection with the Anderson replacement.
Glad to get it done because the old valve was extremely hard to turn even though I lubed it on a regular basis.,
Anderson customer service was very helpful, especially in reminding me that the middle connections had to be reversed.
One possible issue is that when those valve positions are reversed, it puts quite a strain on the lines on the back.
I believe the existing connections are shark bite, should I replace them with Pex?
Thx John

John - thanks, for checking back in on this and sharing the picture of the new panel. Many folks have replaced soft hose with pex using sharkbite connections. Is this what you are asking ? I think all of our existing connections to the panel with soft hose and pex are using soft rubber cone washers in the black threaded twist connectors.
If you get a chance to take pictures of the current behind the panel hookups strain on plumbing and and changes you make to replace hose/connections, that would be appreciated. While our Kantleak panel operates well (it was replaced by GDRV customer service center in 2018) if we keep out 303 much longer, I may want to replace with the new panel as you did.
Thanks, again, John !

We are still using the old kan leak panel. Replaced the center valve early on and since then no issues.. Maybe it's because we travel with a replacement panel ( same..kant leak) that has more brass in the back than the one installed on our '14.
Agree with Dan, pictures of the backside would be nice to seeMarcy & Gary

Blue pipe labeled #2 looks suspicious to me with bulging between the fittings. I’d change that out. If you have the inclination, I’d change all of that RV flex hose over to PEX.

John - thank you much for taking the pictures and sharing those. Did you have to splice in or add in pieces to exiting hose or just a re-hook up existing hoses ?
