Receiver hitches need to be installed in the frame rails--not the bumper. Modern bumpers are not exactly structurally made.

And the hitches on travel trailers are 2 5/16" in size.

I have added 2" receiver hitches to all my trailers. Always to the frame, never the bumper.
I used two different types. One was to add heavy angle to extend from the frame so a crossbar of heavy-wall 2" square tubing could be welded. Then the hitch welded to that.
The other style was to weld in two crossbars(2" heavy wall) underneath the rear of the trailer. Then a piece of 2" welded on centreline to the crossbars to extend out the back to which you would add the receiver. This is the way my hitch was attached to my last trailer. 15 years with no problems.
Frame configuration will determine how you need to build yours.
On my 2021 reflection, they used the first type from the factory.

The OP is referring to the receiver, not the ball.

Just be aware that whatever tongue weight of what you will be hooking up - bikes, equipment tray, etc. will counterbalance some of the tongue weight up front. Make sure it doesn't lighten it so much it allows trailer sway to happen.
VERY few states allow hitching a trailer to a ball pulled trailer.

The receivers on both our Reflection and Solitude have been/are 2" receivers. Are you talking about 2-5/16" hitch balls?

Thank's for all the reply's. I will have to find a shop, and check it out. And a little concerned about the weight on the back of 2250rk not much for tongue weight already.

Yes rear kitchens are notoriously bad towing rigs due to the extra weight behind the axles

Unsure what you plan on carrying but have you considered a rack over your propane tanks?
