Suggestion for storage on tongue

Hi,
I'm looking to store my dirty chocks, a few black tank items, a few hand tools, and gloves in some type of storage on the tongue. My battery was replaced and moved to the passthrough, so there's a void looking to be filled. I saw a Maxxtow Maxxhaul on trailer.com and someone with a 22MLE left a review that it fits, but the picture they shared shows otherwise. I can't tell if the lid can open due to the trailer nose. Can anyone share their tongue storage box or offer a suggestion?

You could remove the hinges and add some latches and make the lid removable. Or hinge it sideways or forward if there is clearance.

Yeah, I could. If someone has done that and can share their experience I would be more inclined to try. Hopefully someone can reply with a brand and model that fits their Imagine XLS.

I might also look for something that will attached to the rear of the trailer. Not sure if a storage box, chocks, blocks, and pads would put too much weight back there while traveling.

I tried this one on our 2500RL and it almost worked. If the propane tanks were a few inches more forward it would have.

I mounted this black diamond box on the tongue of my 2021 Imagine XLS 17MKE. It's okay but I just sold the trailer and bought a 22MLE and I will go with a longer box this time.

I did have to move the propane tanks forward a couple inches but that took all of about 5 minutes.

No issues with hitting it with the truck when you take a tight turn? If that hasn't been an issue, that's what I've also been looking for!
