Good to know the status of the axles, though i would guess that you are over the payload rating.

Our 2020 gmc 2500 crew diesel (4x4, Denali) has 3009 payload. The duramax 'eats' a lot of payload. GM upped the GVWR in the 2020 3/4 tons (11,500 lbs. GVWR) otherwise we would have had to go to a 1 ton to haul our 303 and still be within the payload rating when fully loaded.

Yea, it’s a 4x4. Fairly well optioned, including sunroof….. that all eats into payload. As someone else noted GM 2500 saw significant payload increases around 2020. My neighbour has a similarly equipped 2021 Sierra and his payload is 3,200 lbs

We have towed over 55,000 miles with a 3/4 ton gas Ford F250. See signature below. Across the country from Ohio to Florida, Ohio to Texas and Ohio to Montana multiple times. We travel about 6 months of the year. Our payload is just a little under 3,000 lbs. The only reason I am going to an F350 is for towing with the diesel at altitude in the Rockies and for mileage for better range. If I was still working and only towing occasionally I’d stick with the gas F250.

Lol......my wife is laughing at me that next.....i will want a 3500. I told her that the 3/4 ton is quite capable and i won't be trading up in puller.

    Thanks
I pull our 303 rls with a chevy 3/4 and it has a duramax diesel .I really think it is a good setup for us. Our biggest trips were to texas and I put over 10,000 miles on the truck and rv ,twice in the last 2 winters,no issues of any kind with truck or rv.I quite like the way our pickup pulls the 303 ,no stress on the truck at all . I have both units checked out by qualified personal as soon as we get back home.I did install a set of firestone air bags in the truck ,they work well keeping everything level.
