So the steer axle weight is the total weight of the truck?

I'm not sure - still figuring it all out. I'll go weigh the truck by itself later today.

There should be 3 weights. Maybe you had the truck to far forward on the scale maybe
Didn’t think that was possible though

When you get on the pad its three platforms. As they are built for semi's, usually you just need to put the front wheels a foot or two on the front pad, and make sure your trailer isn't on the middle pad.

I have a short box super cab so I often have to get out and walk to the speaker as I'm about 5 feet behind it at most places.

You're right. It was all the way forward per the scale operator's instruction. Truck on the front pad, camper on the second and nothing on the 3rd. It fit. Caveat: It was my first time using a scale.... Any suggestions? Thx!

If the scale operator told you that, he/she was in error. The front wheels go on the 1st pad, the rear wheels on the second pad, and the trailer on the 3rd pad.

The 10,000 lbs number will be the GVW of your truck. The way you positioned, you weighed the front and rear axle at the same time. Look at your yellow sticker and see what your GVWR is, if it's 9,900, you're over, if it's 11,000 (or 14,000) your under.

The smaller number is likely the axle weight of your camper, although, TBH, that looks light to me. I'm not familiar with your model though, so not sure what it should weigh. My Momentum 351 will typically put me around 11K on the truck (combined for both axles of the truck), with about 12-13K on the two trailer axles. Wish I had more "wiggle" on the trailer axles (they are close to the 7K rating), but, it works, and I've towed for 1000's of miles without an issue. Doing it again, I'd probably get a triple axle just to have more breathing room.

Have completed 11 trips and it’s easily pulled the camper, no problem. Great stopping, excellent acceleration, handles nicely, almost no chucking and it sits perfectly.
