Air conditioner in momentum rattling
We have a new momentum 397. Just today the air conditioner in the garage started making a rattling sound. When we close both vents it stops the sound but can’t keep them closed obviously. Any thoughts on what could be the issue? This is the only air conditioner that is having this issue.

Is the rattling coming from the AC itself or somewhere in the racetrack duct work? If from the AC itself (and you don't have RV Airflow kits installed), drop the trim and filter cover and look up inside the return area. There should be a flat plate separating the intake from the output sides. It's common for these to be sloppily installed or coming loose - leading to poor air flow and noises you don't want. If that's the case, use some Gorilla tape, put the plate all the way back up in place, and tape it securely all the way around.
BTW - you can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:
Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)
