Solar panels extending over edge of roof

I am in AZ. My 1080 watt system routinely hits over 980 watts.

I wholly agree with how much you can afford. I'm going with installing a 1200W system, which will be pushing the budget. I'd like to go with a 1600W system, but the installation and panels takes it up another $800 to 1000. I will be having the wiring for the two additional panel put in place during the install. And hopefully I can install the last 2 panels within the next year.
