    Momentum 349 Westlakes

Well, my westlakes are two years old, with no issues at all. I got a flyer that Simple Tire had a fall sale going in the Sailuns so I placed the order.

It will be good to have piece of mind. I have not bought Sailuns in a few years so I hope their quality is still top notch. I am running them on several ranch trailers with no issues whatsoever. I also have had them on two prior RV’s.

I used to pay around $125 for them, but the past 12 Months they have really jumped.

Be aware there have been a few failures with the Sailun tires made this year in Vietnam. I had a set on my Fuzion that were 6 years old, with absolutely no issues. Until recently I'd heard of no
failures with Sailun tires, now I'm not so sure. I have a 2019 with the OEM Westlakes so will be checking out new tires, probably next year.

I got the Sailuns in and yes they had made in Vietnam on them.
I looked at the new Hanhook 235/80/16 14 plys which were about $70 per tire more.

I called Simple tire and asked where they were made and was told South Korea.

I returned the Sailuns and ordered the Hankooks. They arrived today and guess what, they are made in China.

Customer service is dead in this country.

Being made in China isn't necessarily a bad thing. The Sailun's were made in China, and they were great. The Vietnam-made seem to be struggling a bit.

Maybe they are fine. Just tired of companies being clueless about their products.

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on getting reliable information from customer service. They seem to just tell you what will get you off the line.
