That, and I'm pretty sure you got the trailers front axle onto the drive pad.

You should have about 8,000 or so on the trailer axles (ballpark)..

Seeing that you only have 4220, and are 4000+ pounds heavy on the truck axle, I'm going to bet a beer that you were far enough forward that the forward axle on the trailer was on the drive pad.. And the math is pretty close on that being the case as well.

Not a 100% absolute, but you generally have 80% of trailer weight on axle, 20% on truck, but that can vary depending on where it's loaded.

Toy haulers will be much heavier than that on the nose empty, so they have enough when loaded.

Like I said, I'm oblivious to this stuff but learning. I'll run by the scale again tomorrow when head towards the next campground then I'll repost what that one says. Definitely appreciate the input.

So if my rear gawr is 6500 and my drive scale weight is 5440 with the trailer hooked up, I should be good within my limits?

Well within limits. You're fine. Not even close.

Thanks. Especially being new to towing I'm a bit of a worry wart and always want to take responsibility for my own actions.

Now throw in the trailer with the wife and I, full tank of gas and all of our gear in our 2022 295rl 150 series reflection weighed at the scale yesterday we are looking at steer axel-4440, drive axel-9600 and the trailer axel at 4220 with the gross weight 18260. The uvw is 8955, hitch weight is 1434 and the gvwr is 10995. I am totally lost with all of this stuff so any help in determing if I am good or not is very much appreciated. The truck seems to handle fine with it and it doesn't squat that bad at all and doesn't creep me out like the 312 bhts did.
Your numbers don’t make sense. After adding the trailer you are adding 560 lbs to the steer axle and 5160 lbs?? To the drive axle. Something is not right
