    Picking up our 388M tomorrow

I am picking up our new 388M tomorrow. I stopped by to see how their 12 day PDI was going on Monday. Looked like he hadn't gotten much done. He did find an issue with no power to the back up camera and a problem with the city water valve? But I noticed there is only one pull for emptying tanks in the rear that is labeled Black tank. The tech said the rear bathroom toilet and sink both went to the black tank. I am assuming the washer drain goes to the gray???? There are gauges for 2 black and 2 gray tanks? Why is there not a pull for the rear gray tank?

Does anyone know how these tanks are plumbed, gauges set-up and what the rear pull actually drains?

On mine the pull for the rear tank is right next to the exit of the rear pipe.

    Enjoy the new rig.

Does the one pull in the rear empty both gray and black rear tanks all at once?

Since I have a 355TH which does not have a rear 1/2 bath, I am just going to give you my best guess on this situation. The rear 1/2 bath has just one tank, a black tank, that both the toilet and the lavatory drain into. It is dumped by the one black tank valve behind the axles. Then there is a galley tank (grey), a shower tank (grey), and the black tank for the front toilet. The drain valves for these three tanks is located in the convenience center and drain out of the sewer drain in front of the axles. I would also guess that the laundry drain is piped into the rear black tank.

I can't tell for sure yet, but it looks like the laundry and rear sink go into grey1. That drains through the front with valve in the front bay. Black1 (rear) has it's own drain, valve and flush.

Got it home tonight...steep learning curve on everything. I will get the hose out this weekend and figure it out. I have to get on the roof and put water down the vents anyway to figure which ones are the black tank vents for my extreme vents.

Congrats! I think you will be very happy with it. I know I am very happy after a couple of weeks. I won't actually get it home for another 2+ weeks, but learning on the road has been "fun". So far, nothing wrong that I couldn't correct myself (with a little advice).

What's an extreme vent and why add them?

As the wind blow thru them it creates a vacuum on the tank, so when you flush no smell from the tank comes in the camper.
