Connection aborted

When using my Fire HD tablet, I always get "Connection aborted, this site can be harmful to your device." Unless I select "desktop site".

Anybody know why?

What browser? might have to tweak your security settings slightly.

The Kindle Fire HD is an Android tablet - but HIGHLY "Amazonized." The Silk browser is not nearly as compatible with the world as Microsoft's and Apple's browsers. Even to install non-Amazon apps, one has to jump through some major hoops. Amazon has locked out a number of things and keeps things very proprietary. Because of this, I've gone back to using mine for just reading Kindle books.

Thanks for the advice.
After messing with all I could, the best and easiest solution I found was to just check the switch to desktop version box whenever I need to come here. It always connects. Weird that I don't have this problem with any other site.
