278bh slide being funky

I have a 278bh that when it retracts the left side seems to make a slight clicking and then catches up to the right side and then it seems to pull in a bit more smoothly. Is this normal? Should I try the retiming procedure? It is fully in when in and out when out. It isn’t finishing crooked. And yea I always fully extend and retract and wait several seconds after both.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
There is a slight wear on the upper tracks on both sides of the slide.

Is this a Schwintec slide ? if so try re timing it.

As for the wear, pictures would help people here determine if it is normal or not

That doesn't look or sound right. By your description, it sounds like your slide is "walking". As mentioned, start by re-syncing it and see if that fixes it. When bringing in or out, you have to keep pressing the slide button for 5secs so it stays sync.
