    2021 2970RL water leak

Our camper has been open all summer with almost zero problems. This past weekend, open camper to find carpet in dinette area saturated. And only to end of dinette. No water marks on ceiling or slide wall. Anyone had this issue before? Window??

    Thanks, Steve

Window would be my guess. Can you train a water hose on the window from outside while someone watches inside to see if they can detect the entry point?

BTW - you can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

Mine has leaked 1 time since I've owned it. It came in at the top of the dining sliding window during a heavy rain. All I did to stop it was change my level just a little.

We had a problem with the window in the end of our slide by the theatre seat., during a heavy rain, I noticed the lower channel of the window full of water and water running down the wall. I Googled and found a procedure to clean the drain holes, but nothing came out. The window was replaced under warranty and no more problems have been encountered.

Water is a wicked enemy. How it travels is anyone's guess. We have a 2970RL as well and have had no problems. I would look at the big window above the table and the side window. Another thing could be the slide seal. We have slide toppers on ours but water could come in through a seal and run down to the carpet at the corner of the slide.

This may be a stupid question but you didn't mention if it had been raining. When was the last time it rained before you discovered this?
