    Bedroom TV mounting screws

First trip in 2022 Solitude 310gkr, both upper screws fell out of bedroom TV mounting bracket...Are there any studs there? Any suggestions on how to secure?

    Thank you for your service.
This pic is how I attached TV and holder.
If you have any questions I will be glad to explain why I did it this way.

Why did you take the board all the way to the closet? My plan was to screw a 15" x 18" board to the 15" x 15" metal plate in the wall. Is the plate not strong enough on it's own?

I went to the closet for 3 reasons, neither of which is a showstopper.
1-- I knew I had good strong supports at the closet.
2-- I did not have to cut the plywood.
3-- I did not trust the in wall supports (just me).
Your method seems perfectly acceptable to me and will probably work just as well.

I am an over-engineering person at heart. Going with a 36" x18" piece of 3/4" plywood to go to the closet like yours. I also have more weight going on than a traditional mount. Using a Ergomount monitor mount with an extension to get the tv closer to the center of the bed. Mount weighs 6lbs, extension weighs 1lb and the 32" tv weighs 11lbs. I believe I read somewhere that the mounting point was good for 50lbs with 3/4" backer board. Can post pics in another post.

Has anyone ever found that the tv backer was missing? That seems to be the case in the bedroom of our new 23G. Sticker is there, but area seems completely hollow other than one stud in the area.

Is this an exterior, or interior wall?

Have you checked for it with magnets? The rare earth magnets seem to work well. It is just a thin plate behind the panelling rather than extra studs.

It’s an interior wall. Yes, I tried magnets, didn’t stick anywhere around or on the location sticker.
