Leveling jack motor head rotation
I have a 2019 Solitude with the Lippert electric leveling system (front 2 jacks, 2 mid jacks and 2 rear jacks).
As many others have encountered on here, the 4 rear jacks were way too close to the ground. I understand the string test, but that's for parking lots. I don't camp in parking lots.
I was able to lift up 3 of those jacks 3 inches each and still have room on the top to get a ratchet in there should the jack fail. My problem is the 4th jack. The piggyback gearbox sits directly below an outrigger floor support and it can't be moved up.
My question is this - is it possible to unbolt the head/gearbox, rotate it 90 degrees and re-bolt it in place on the jack "tube"? That would put it on the outside of the tube and I could raise that jack like I did the others.

Failing an answer from someone here on the forum, I've found Lippert/LCI customer support to be extremely responsive and helpful. You could give them a call.

I tried calling them. Although they have been very helpful in the past, they were not this time. I was told they do not recommend it. When I asked why, she said I could mess up the gear box. When I explained I was not taking the gear box apart, merely lifting the sealed gear box up and turning it 90 degrees, she just said they do not recommend it.
But, thank you for the suggestion.
